People have been yelling for maps... 
"I can't find them"
"No single resource to download"
"I'm lazy"
"[BC] Rulez! Help us out please!"

You get the picture.  We have accumulated a large
number of maps, almost 200 since KP was released 
in the 3rd quarter of 1999.  As the very first 
game server to run custom maps we have accumulated
quite a few unique maps directly from budding
map authors.  Now they are all in one handy
package for installation.

I have tried to weed out pure BETA maps that were
replaced with FINAL copies.  However, some beta
maps we LIKED better than the final and they have
been left in the pack.  Also if a map has been
released, and then revised, the original stays
for the same reason.

I have "tried" to leave all the original author's
files intact... readmes, etc.  Some maps were 
released missing some textures and we have 
substituted our own to eliminate the nasty
red/black check pattern.

I have painstackingly tested every single map today
to insure NO textures are missing, all SOUND files
are intact, and the sky ENV files are available.
Some maps bite, some maps rock, we run them all unless
their is some insane flaw with the map that makes
it 100% worthless on our 8/16 player servers.

Multi-player Kingpin servers to not send the SOUND
files to the clients, and some of you players have
been missing out on some neato sounds.  Well, hear
they are... 

INSTALL HELP:

Just unzip the contents of the MAP-PACK file(s) into
your Kingpin folder and they will be placed in the
correct locations.
